Self-published is hard work.

Don't get me wrong. There are some real benefits to publishing one's book by themselves. Being my very own editor is not my favorite part. So, here are some tips that work for me. Read your book from the last chapter to the first. It's very easy to get drawn into a story. When I am reading a story, my brain will sometimes correct a mistake without me even knowing it. Read out loud. This can also help with flow. When I say the words, I know when something sounds wrong. Never be afraid to rewrite and rewrite again. Last, if it's perfect check it once more. Those are my tips. Love Your Horror Queen K.C. Anavrin
